The FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

If these don't answer your questions, feel free to reach out!

do you travel?

Absolutely!! Could be within the midwest, could be on the west coast, could be international. I would love to come no matter where you're located.

how long have you been doing this?

I started taking photos from a very early age. I bought a camera at the age of 13 and practiced nonstop the minute I got it. At the age of 18, I started booking sessions for families and portraits. By age 20, I photographed my first wedding, and have been doing it for the last 3.5 years!

how many photos do we get?

If you go to the "Experience" tab, you will see all of my packages. They will say approximately how many photographs you will receive, based on your desired package.

how do we get our photos?

I will send you an online gallery with all of your photos and a download pin. All wedding bookings get an additional flash drive with their photos on it.

what's your turn around time?

The average turn around time for an engagement or family session is up to two weeks! Wedding galleries take around 3 months, plus or minus. If it's a busier time of the year, expect your gallery anywhere from 3-4 months. If it's a slower time of the year, it could take 1-3 months.

how do we book you?

My preferred method of communication would be via my website. If you send in a response through the "Contact" tab with your name, I will get back to you as soon as I can.

can you help us with planning?

Absolutely! From the minute you book with me, I want to know what your vision is for the day. If there's anyway I can help at all, I would love to. About a month before your wedding day, I will contact you to make a schedule for the day. We will work together to organize what is best for your day. For other inquiries, such as engagement shoots, I would be happy to help you pick a location and theme, if you don't already have one picked out.

how far out do you book?

My 2025 Wedding books are currently still open! They're filling up fast, so I would love to get in contact with you as soon as possible if you are a 2025 couple looking for a wedding photographer. I would prefer a month heads up with family, engagement, and portrait sessions, and a few months heads up for weddings. Of course, if something comes up, I am always willing to work with you and accommodate to your schedule.

Do you shoot alone or with a second shooter?

I primarily shoot on my own, but if you are interested in a second shooter, I have a list of photographers I can reach out to. The reason for a second shooter is to get a different perspectives during first looks and moments were I'm photographing a reaction. I am comfortable shooting alone, but having a second shooter opens up the opportunity to get things done simultaneously. It's a good option for those that have multiple locations throughout the day! The cost varies depending on how much the photographer charges, but usually ranges from $40-$80/hour to cover their time!
